"Bárki is lesz az ellenfelünk, azt meg kell vernünk." - Vizicsacsi interjú

Elkaptuk egy exkluzív interjúra Vizicsacsit, aki első magyar LoL-osként jutott ki a világbajnokságra!

Kiss "Vizicsacsi" Tamás történelmet írt, ugyanis első magyar League of Legends játékosként ott lesz a világbajnokságon. A Splyce felső ösvényesét elkaptuk egy interjúra!

Rögtön az elején hadd gratuláljunk a VB-hez, 5 év és 331 meccs után, teljesen megérdemelten végre ott lehetsz a LoL legnagyobb tornáján. A stúdióban olyan voltál, mint aki most kapta meg élete ajándékát, így, pár nappal később, milyen érzések kavarognak benned?

"Továbbra is nagyon örülök a lehetőségnek. Ez a célom volt már amióta bejutottam az LCS-be és szeretném ha sikerülne egy jó teljesítményt is összehoznunk a csapattal majd. Van még hova fejlődni nyilván, főleg az FNC ellen látottakat figyelembe véve, de bízom benne hogy az új patchet jól el tudjuk majd sajátítani."

2014 óta követjük a pályafutásod, emlékszel még erre az interjúra, amit veled csináltunk még amikor bekerültél az LCS-be? Mi szerinted a legnagyobb különbség az akkori és a mostani önmagad között?

"Emlékszem rá igen. Szerintem a legnagyobb különbség a játék nézetemben van. Most sokkal stabilabb, precízebb, de ugyanakkor kiszámíthatóbb játékot tartom a legjobbnak a magam számára, míg korábban csak meg szerettem volna mutatni magamat és sokkal rizikósabb játékstílusban bíztam. De ez valószínűleg a csapatban betöltött szerepem miatt is van így."

Azt már a meccs utáni interjúban is elmondtad, hogy a Rogue elleni vereség nagyon elvette az önbizalmatokat és az Origen ellen sem sikerült visszaszerezni, a Schalke-t mégis játszi könnyedséggel vertétek meg. Tényleg az underdog szerepe jön be ennyire, vagy csak végre sikerült megszerezni azt az önbizalmat?

"Éppen hogy az Origen elleni meccs után sikerült ezt visszaszerezni. A gyakorlásunk a Gauntlet előtt elég jól ment, viszont azt a játékot nem láttam vissza az OG ellen. Sokkal passzívabbak és óvatosabbak voltunk. A Schalke ellen pedig sikerült teljes mértékben kibontakoznunk. Úgy tűnik, kellett egy bo5, hogy helyre jöjjünk. Az FNC meccseket pedig felejtősnek tartom, nagyon rossz volt a stratégiánk a széria előtt és nem készültünk fel eléggé."

Titokban kicsit reménykedtünk, hogy 2-0-nál behozod a Poppy-t :) De csak a GP maradt. 

"Poppy-t szívesen hoznám bármikor, de sajnos a Top lanen elég sokat kell most blind pickelni és ilyenkor stabilabb hősök felé érdemes nézni. Poppy blind sajnos a klepto ranged hősök miatt nem működik."

A Fnatic ellen már nem, de előtte két szérián keresztül is GP-t játszottál. Bevallom, még cikket is írtam arról, hogy fogadni lehetne a csapat vereségére, ha te GP-t játszol, annyira rossz volt a győzelmi mutatód vele, de a gauntletben végig szárnyaltál a hőssel. Ennyire illik a Splyce játékstílusához, miszerint téged ott hagynak a felső ösvényen, hogy időt nyert az összes többi lane-nek? 

"Igen, valóban ez a stílus alakult ki számunkra a verseny során, hogy én magamra maradok top lanen, miközben a csapat bot oldalra játszik teljes mértékben. Erre a GP tökéletes választás, mert lvl 6 után szinte gankelhetetlen. Ha rossz pozicióban is találom magam, akkor egy ultival ezt már meg is tudom törni. Azonban azt is lehetett látni, hogy amikor más hőssel voltam és ugyanígy teljesen egyedül maradtam, akkor ez nem jött be és nagy hátrányba kerültem többször is."

Nem túl unalmas ez a golyófogó szerep? Azért jó néhány olyan played kering a neten, ahol elképesztő playeket toltál, szóval a mechanikád nem olyan rozsdás…

"Alapból én is úgy gondolom, hogy bot lane meta van és bot felé játszani sokkal jobban megéri, mint topra. Ugyanakkor szeretném, hogyha 1-1 gyors lehetőség adódik topon, akkor a jungler nyitott arra hogy benéz ilyenkor. Meg kell találni az egyensúlyt és ezzel gondjaink vannak most. Mindenképpen javítani kell majd rajta a VB előtt."

Shen nemrég komoly buffot kapott és egyre inkább úgy tűnik, hogy a jelenlegi profi meta is a globál ultikról szól. Supportként már láthattuk a Splyce-nál, de topra még nem hoztad. Túl sok a counter-pick vagy csak nem szeretnél vele játszani?

"Nem illett bele a metába. Szerintem Shen akkor a legerősebb és akkor OP, hogyha dominálni tudja a laning fázist és ezáltal ő dönt arról, hogy mikor akar elultizni. Ezen felül, amikor el is hagyod a lane-edet, akkor az ellenfél nem fog tornyot dönteni, mert te voltál az, aki pusholta. Ez viszont jelenleg nagyon ritka, és csak counter pickként hoznám."

Sokak szerint a felső ösvényről a legnehezebb egy profi és egy sima ranked meccset is megnyerni. Osztod a véleményüket, vagy nem véletlenül láthatunk sok felső ösvényest a ranked ranglétra legtetején?

"Szerintem ugyanakkora befolyása tud lenni top lane-nek, mint más lane-eknek. Soloqban az a legjobb hős, ami domináns early game-ben és ezáltal folyamatosan tudsz vele pusholni, közben pedig TP pozícióban vagy bot lane-re. Amint van valami akció, lemész és az ellenfél botja már ki is tiltel a meccsből. Profi szinten is egész jól be lehet avatkozni a meccsekbe, mert jelenleg főleg teamfighter hősök vannak a metában, akiknek 1-1 jó megmozdulása el is döntheti a meccset."

Régebben még azt mondtad, hogy addig egészen biztosan nem akarod abbahagyni, míg el nem jutsz egy VB-re. Ez most sikerült, jövőre azért láthatunk még az LEC-ben játszani?

"Igazából nem nagyon akarok most ezzel foglalkozni. Én úgy szoktam vele lenni, hogy bármi ami nem kapcsolódik a szezonhoz, azt majd szezonok között átgondolom, szezon alatt pedig csak a játékra fókuszálok. Hogy milyen opciók várnak utána, az ráér még jelenleg."

Nem csak a rajongók, de az európai csapatok szerint is most van a legnagyobb esélye a régiónak megnyernie vagy legalább döntőznie a VB-n, osztod ezt a véleményt?

"Osztom. Mi nem tartoztunk a legerősebb európai csapatok közé. Sajnos be kell vallani, hogy nagy a különbség a G2+FNC és a többi csapat között. A G2 elég esélyes arra, hogy sokáig meneteljen, és szeretném, ha mi is azért valamennyire felzárkóznánk az elkövetkezendő hetekben. A mi csapatunk erőssége nem a flexpickek és a folyamatos harcok, hanem inkább a kontrolláltabb játék, amely során amikor ott van mindenki fejben és folyamatosan tudjuk, hogy mi a következő lépés, akkor nagyon erősek tudunk lenni szintén. "

A G2 játékosoktól már tudjuk, hogy ők rengeteget játszanak a Classic WoW-val, te milyen játékkal kapcsolódsz ki, amikor épp nem LoLozol? Előkerül még néha-néha a jó öreg sakktábla?

"Sakkozni szoktam elvétve, és néha előhúzok 1-1 régi klasszikust amihez kedvem támad, de nincs olyan játék amivel túl sok időt töltenék a LoL-on kívül. Főleg most a VB előtt maximum a sakkot tartom elfogadhatónak."

Korábbi csapatod, a Unicorns of Love is bejutott a Play-inbe. Találkoznál velük, vagy inkább elkerülnéd Sheepy-éket?

"Játszottunk velük gyakorló meccseket és nem tűntek a legacélosabb csapatnak. Az orosz bajnokság meghódítására ez elég volt, de nem hiszem hogy messzire fognak jutni a VB-n, úgyhogy igazából szerintem mindegy hogy megkapjuk őket vagy sem. Nekünk mindenképpen a csoportelsőség a célunk és bárki is lesz az ellenfelünk, azt meg kell tudni verni."

First of all, congratulations for qualifying to Worlds, after 5 years and 331 matches, you are fully deserved to be there. In the studio you looked like you got the gift of your life, after a few days what kind of emotions are swirling in you?

I still enjoy this opportunity. This was my goal since I got into LCS, and I wish we could make a good result with the team. Obviously, we still have to improve, especially considering the match against FNC, but I believe that we can learn the new patch quite well.

We have been following your career since 2014, do you remember this interview, what we did with you when you got into LCS? What do you think, what is the biggest difference between you then and yourself today?

Yes, I remember that. I guess the biggest difference is in my game view. Now I find my game more stable and precise, but at the same time I am playing a more predictable game, whereas before I just wanted to show myself and trusted a much more risky gamestyle. But that’s probably because of my role in the team.

You said in the post-match interview that losing against Rogue had taken a lot of self-confidence and you couldn’t get it back against Origen, but Schalke was beaten with ease. Is it really the role of the underdog comes in or have you finally got that self-confidence back?

It was just after the match with Origen where we could get it back. Our practice went really well before the Gauntlet, but I did not see this game back against Origen. We were so much more passive and cautious. Against Schalke we were able to fully develop. Looks like we needed a BO5 to get there. I think the matches against FNC are forgettable, we had a really bad strategy before the series and we weren’t prepared enough.

We were secretly hoping that you will bring the Poppy at 2-0. But only GP remained.

I would love to bring Poppy anytime, but unfortunately right now at toplane you have to blind pick a lot and in this case it’s worth looking at more stable heroes. Unfortunately picking Poppy blind is not working because of the klepto ranged champions.

Not against FNC, but before you played GP for two series. I admit, I even wrote an article about betting on a team defeat if you were GP, you had such a bad winrate with him, but you went so far with this champion in the gauntlet. Is it so consistent with Splyce’s playing style that you are left on the top lane to gain time for all other lanes?

Yes, this is really the style that has developed for us during the tournament, that I will stay on top lane while the teams play full bot side. For this style GP is a perfect pick, because after level 6 he is ungankable. If I find myself in a bad position, then I’ll use my ultimate to get out safely. But it was also clear that when I was with other champs and I was playing the same way, it didn’t work out and I was at a great disadvantage several times.

Isn’t that a bit boring that you are the bullet-holder in your team? There are a lot of great plays of you in the internet, so your mechanics couldn’t be that rusty…

I think we are in a bot lane meta and playing bot side is more worth than playing top side. At the same time, if there are some quick opportunity on top, then the jungler is open to looking at it this time. We have a problem with it now, we have to find the perfect balance. It will be definitetly improved before Worlds.

Shen recently got a serious buff and it seems that the current pro meta is based on global ults. We’ve seen Shen as a support at Splyce, but you haven’t picked it to top yet. Too much counter-pick or you just don’t want to play it?

He didn’t fit into the meta. I think Shen is the strongest and the most OP, when he can dominate the laning phase, so he decides when he wants to use his ult. Besides, when you leave your lane your opponent can’t push your tower, because you pushed the lane before. But that is very rare right now and I would only bring it as a counter-pick.

Many players say that it is the hardest to carry from the top lane, weither its a pro game or solo que. Do you think it is true and thats why we cannot see so many toplaners on the top of the ladder?

I think all lane is equally important. In soloque, you need a champion that is dominant in the early game, so you can push all the time and in the meantime you look for a tp play to bot. If an action starts, you just go there win and make the enemy botlane tilt out of the game. On the pro level top is still very relevant as we have teamfighter champions whose i ability can make or brake a game.

In the past you said you won’t give up you professional career untill you get to Worlds. Now you done it, still will we see you in the LEC next year?

I don’t want to think about this right now. I usually think about the things i need to think about. If something is not about the current split I will think about it between splits and only focus on the game. I have time to think about next year and the options that I have.

The fans and the EU teams say that this is the year where our region have the highest chance to win or get into the finals. Do you think its true?

Yes it is. We are not the strongest team in EU, it is hard to admit but G2 and Fnatic is on an other level. G2 has a high chance to go high and I want us to at least get closer to them in the upcoming time. The strength of Splyce is not in flexpicks and continous teamfights, we like controlled circumstances, where everyone is there mentally and knows what to do next. If we can force this we will be very strong.

Your former team, Unicorns of Love also got into the Play-In. Would you  meet them or rather avoid them?

We play against them in practice matches and they didn’t seem like a very strong team. That was enough to conquer the Russian league, but I don’t think they will get far at Worlds, so I really don’t care whether we get them. Our goal is definitely to finish our group first, and whoever your opponent is, you have to be able to beat them. 

We already know that G2 players play a lot of WoW Classic. What kind of game do you play when you are not playing LoL? Do you ever find the good old chess board sometimes?

I usually play chess and sometimes I play some good old classic games that I like, but there is no game that I spend too much outside of LoL. Especially before Worlds, I find chess the most acceptable.
